Treka and Aaron

Well, we had a dilemma. My sister, Treka, wanted pictures of her and her boyfriend, Aaron, before he leaves for a year long job in Afghanistan. Aaron, like most guys, was not thrilled with the idea of getting dressed up and posing for photos. To make matters worse, Treka picked out a v-neck, girly sweater for him to wear. She was not making my job any easier. What's a girl to do? We decided to go with Aaron's love for the Chiefs and do some shots in their matching jerseys. I'm not sure he had fun, but at least Treka and I did! Thanks for being such a good sport Aaron!! From our entire family, we wish you a safe trip and take care while you're away. We'll miss you!

Jadyn the Gymnast

Jadyn is such a talented and serious gymnast, it was difficult to catch her out of the gym long enough to get pictures of her not doing flips! She was such a great subject and the Railroad Park in Blue Springs turned out to be a perfect spot. Her dad, Chris, brought along some bread for the geese, so I was able to get some cute pictures of her feeding them. It was another beautiful fall day for pictures!

Quest For Fall Colors

It's always a great time when Adrienne is around! We did a few shots at the local park and between the wind and Savanna's white sweatshirt blending into the lake background, it just wasn't working. Adrienne loved the red fall leaves, so we were on a mission to find one that wasn't in a residential yard. We almost succeeded...instead we found some beautiful, red leaves in the yard of a vacant home. Thankfully, I knew the property owner and before long the girls were climbing in the trees for some fun shots. Adrienne was a big help to get Savanna cracking up for a few.

Miss Molly

Can you believe this? I took 175 shots of Molly for her senior pictures and not one of them turned out bad! My husband was amazed at how photogenic she is. I kept telling him the person behind the camera had something to do with it too! We had so much fun doing these pictures and it was a perfect fall day for our shots on the William Jewell College campus. Although looking at them started to make me feel a little old, I used to babysit Molly when I was in high school. How time flies!

Baker Family

What a great family! The Baker family is always so much fun, I was really excited to get some shots for their Christmas cards. Our families have become friends through our kids. Their oldest son, Parker, has been like part of our family over the past year. Parker is my son's best friend and the two have spent many hours skateboarding in our driveway. I'm sure Parker will soon have his own room in our house!
