Derek: Class of 2009

I had the pleasure of doing some senior photos for Derek this morning.  We started at his home and took a few shots on the front porch, which has been a traditional location for many photos with his friends over the years.  After some poses downtown in Odessa, we ended our session at the track, where Derek is right at home this time of year.  : )  He was a very polite young man and so easy to photograph.  I thought we got some really great shots, I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Lauryn: Blown Away

Lauryn and I had a battle to get her senior photos done.  Our first appointment had to be rescheduled due to snow, then our next appointment a week later was perfect weather, other than the 30 mile and hour winds.  We did our best to work around and managed to get some beautiful shots.  A few of my favorites...

Presley: A hunk, a hunk of burnin' love!

Meet our new puppy, Presley. He was born January 8th, same day as Elvis, hence the name. He's a 4 pound, long haired, english cream, miniature dachshund. I surprised the kids with him last week and they adore him. Terry is smitten with him as well. I finally have a dog small enough to knit a sweater for!

Jana: Author

Jana is working on getting her children's book published and needed some photos to submit as well.  Since we're both on tight schedules, we had to run out and do a few quick shots near the salon in Odessa while Maddie was getting a haircut.  Talk about multi-tasking!

Boudoir Party

Ok, keep in mind that I had to do some creative cropping in order to post some of these photos. A couple of months ago, Kenzi asked me to help out with a Boudior Belles photo party. The ladies all seem to have a blast and we got some beautiful shots for them to give their husbands as gifts for Valentine's Day. It was definitely unlike anything I'd done before, but the women were all so much fun. Here are a few from the shoot.

Heidi: Expecting

Sarah and I visited Heidi and her family a couple of months ago to capture the entire family before the new arrival.  I think the black and white of her next to the window is my absolute favorite.  It really captures the beauty of her pregnancy.  Check back for photos of the newest addition to the family!
