Our church youth group needs some photos of activities to print and hang in the youth room, so I got some fun shots one night when they did some outdoor games of dodgeball and wiffle ball.  

Pin to Win!

We had quite an exciting night in Marshall on Monday.  Zac had been defeated in all his matches for the last three wrestling meets.  The fact that he had never wrestled before didn't seem to matter one bit to him and he was becoming more and more upset after each match. Since neither Terry or I know much (or should I say anything) about wrestling, we weren't much help.  We called upon David, a fellow wrestling parent and resident wrestling expert, to give Zac some pointers and a pep talk.  Whatever he said must have worked. Not only did Zac win the match, he pinned his opponent!  I was so excited, I forgot to take a photo of the referee holding up Zac's hand at the end of the match!  Way to go Zac, we're so proud of you!!

Nevada Tournament

The Mo-Kan Longhorns took first place for their Division at the State tournament in Nevada, Missouri this weekend...

Maddie: Softball season begins!

Maddie's softball team played their first game of the season on May 15th. The girls did fabulous and won the game 9-14 against a team from Lexington. Our pitching was great and combined with our consistent hitting helped the girls clinch the win. I'd have to say the highlight of the game was Maddie blowing me a kiss from the infield!
